Sarah Flammer
OOT A2Y Artist
Sarah Flammer, Mezzo-Soprano, is thrilled to be a
member of the newest chapter of OOT in Ann Arbor/Ypsilanti. Sarah graduated
with her Master’s degree in Vocal Performance from Bowling Green State
University in 2009. Highlights of
her performance experience thus far include Nancy in Britten’s Albert Herring
and Ericlea in the North American premiere of Francesco Cavalli’s La Virtù de’strali d’Amore under the
direction of Paul O’Dette. Sarah has been
the winner of several competitions, including the Dr. Marjorie Conrad Peatee
Art Song Competition, and the Dora Dawson Award from the Tuesday Musicale of
Greater Pontiac. Sarah recently
started her first studio, and loves the challenge of working with young
singers. During the summer of 2009 Sarah taught performance skills at Cranbrook
Theatre School where she was also the co-musical director of Thoroughly Modern
Millie, JR.
