Sara A. Lewis is  a graduate of Indiana University and Manhattan School of Music and holds both Bachelor and Master Degrees in Music.  When not managing the orchestra and finances for Opera On Tap, Mrs. Lewis is a professional classical trombonist and can be found performing around the city with the Opera On Tap Orchestra, Orbital Brass, San Marco Brass Quintet, and various orchestras and shows.  She is also the Finance Manager for PortiCo Research, a marketing and ethnographic research company, and Gina Gibney Dance, a modern dance company that creates and performs contemporary choreography while enriching and reshaping lives through community programs that help families, youths and seniors express themselves through movement.
