Claudia Wier grew up in Santa Fe, New Mexico. At completion of her BA in
vocal performance, she moved to Germany where she secured a position and
sang with the Regensburg Opera Theater for seven years. She returned to the
US and began graduate studies, completing graduate degrees in Vocal
Performance and Theatre Studies and finally an MFA in Drama/Theatre for the
Young from Eastern Michigan University where she is currently teaching as an
Adjunct Instructor for Voice and Articulation. She is currently directing
"The Little Prince" for the Ann Arbor Civic Theatre and has sung several
roles with the Comic Opera Guild. She also directs the Drama Club at Slauson
Middle School in Ann Arbor.
