Alex Weaver
Alexander Weaver, tenor, has appeared on various stages across the country,
including in California, Texas, Iowa, New Jersey, and New York. He was
recently seen as Nerone in the Brooklyn Conservatory of Music's production
of Monteverdi's L'Incoronazione di Poppea. Prior to his work in Brooklyn,
Mr. Weaver was seen as Ferrando in the National Opera Center's production of
Cosi fan tutte, as Rinuccio in Texas Tech University's production of Gianni
Schicchi, and in the title role in their production of Mozart's La Clemenza
di Tito. This summer, he will participate in the prestigious Chautauqua
Opera Festival as a Studio Artist. Mr. Weaver's diverse resume also
features oratorio and operetta appearances. Originally hailing from
Muscatine, Iowa, Mr. Weaver currently studies with Richard Barrett.
