Colorado native Sharon Harms is currently a Master’s student at Indiana University. She received her Bachelor of Music degree from the University of Northern Colorado in 2008 where she played several versatile roles. While at UNC she premiered the role of Mrs. Umney in Stephen Harms’ The Canterville Ghost. This spring she will be seen as La Ciesca (Gianni Schicchi) and Suor Infermiera (Suor Angelica) in Carol Vaness’ Opera Workshop at IU. She will also sing in the collegiate premiere of The Light in the Piazza this Summer. She studies with Carol Vaness.
